When Zoltan Molnar was a child, saw the "Those magnificant men and their flying machines" film. After that he decided to build an airplane saw in the movie. It was nearly impossible in the kommunist country. His first fixed wing plane was built in a hidden loft.



1976. Mr. Zoltán Molnár, the president and owner of our company
build his first non powered hang glider.
1980. Apollo Aircraft Ltd. Established in Eger, Hungary.
1981. He build his first powered hang glider. The engine was a
20 Hp "P 21".
1983. First 2 seater flight.
1990. First year of Rotax distribution.
1992. New name and place. Halley Ltd. H-3300 Eger, Mester street 3.
1998. First flight of Apollo Fox two seater fixed wing UL aircraft.

The total of more than 1000 Apollo UL powered hang glider and 50 Apollo Fox have been produced up to now.
The company has 20-25 workers, the base 2500 m2˛ with 6 workshop.
